We didn’t pick 425 Hz by accident.
The music industry settled on 440 Hz as its reference pitch decades ago — a standard, not a law of nature. Every 222LIsten release is tuned to 425 Hz instead. It’s a deliberate departure, not a defect: a way of putting our own signature into the sound before a single note leaves the room.
You’ll hear it. It sits slightly lower, slightly warmer — close enough to feel familiar, different enough to notice something’s been done on purpose.
Built here first. Headed everywhere, eventually.
222LIsten starts as its own world — self-released, self-tuned, unfiltered. But the intent was never to stay small. The plan is for this catalog to move onto the major streaming platforms, carrying the 425 Hz signature with it, so the message reaches people at scale rather than staying confined to one corner of the internet.
That’s the arc: uncover it independently, prove it, then put it in front of the masses.
